The students at Central Haywood High School are in the process of creating a ‘Polio Museum’ that will be open to visitors on Tuesday, October 24th, from 1:15 to 2:50.   The exhibits displayed in the museum will cover a range of topics which include, but are not limited to: the physical effects of polio; the role of global actors in the campaign to eradicate polio,     .          

(Rotary International, UNICEF, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation); and case studies on the three countries where polio is still endemic -Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Nigeria.  Visitors from the community are more than welcome to visit our museum.
